Army Credentialing Assistance (CA) Program
The Army Credentialing Assistance Program allows Soldiers to earn professional and technical credentials. This program creates new opportunities for Soldiers to enhance their skills and professionalism while serving, and increasing their employability upon transitioning from the Army.
This is a voluntary, off-duty training and education program similar to the Army's existing Tuition Assistance program and provides financial assistance for Soldiers to pursue and earn credentials. Credentialing Assistance authorizes payment of classroom, hands-on, and blended/online training, manuals, study guides, books, testing fees, and related fees for continuing education and re-certification. Credentialing Assistance keeps the Army competitive with civilian counterparts and develops Soldier skills.
McLane Technology Partners is an approved vendor for the Fort Hood Limited User Test program for 2019 available through the GoArmyEd Education Center for Fort Hood, Texas. The Department of Defense and the Department of the Army are neither affiliated with nor endorse McLane Technology Partners.

Supply Chain Management professionals must possess knowledge and skills to strategically help organization streamline operations. This is an introductory course for production and inventory management personnel and CPIM candidates. This course provides basic definitions and concepts for planning and controlling the flow of materials into, through, and out of an organization. It explains fundamental relationships among the activities that occur in the supply chain from suppliers to customers. In addition, the course addresses types of manufacturing systems, forecasting, master planning, material requirements planning, capacity management, production activity control, purchasing, inventory management, distribution, quality management, and just‐in‐time manufacturing problem-solving skills.

The certifications demonstrates mastery of the technical and operational aspects of HR practices and U.S. laws and regulations. The course starts with emphasis on the familiarity with core security terms and principles. At the completion of the class, you will fully understand the Principle of Least Privilege and the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) Triad, and you'll see why those principles drive all security discussions. You will be able to articulate the fundamentals of risk management, security policy, authentication/authorization/accountability.
In addition, this course explains how computers handle numbers using decimal, binary, and hexadecimal numbering systems. Students will also learn how computers encode letters using American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII). The course will also learn the basic crypto terminology and processes. In addition, the course will explore cyber security technologies. We will review wireless network security, and mobile device security. We also discuss malware and anti-malware technologies. We also learn about compartmentalization, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, sniffers, content filters, and other security topics. We also look at data protection protocols, remote access, secure web access, file transfer and Virtual Private Network technologies. Included in the course, students will learn system security, application security and intelligence gathering methods and how to defend against them.

Help Desk Support Technicians must possess skills to ensure a strong technical understanding as well as communicating clearly with others. As a vital part of organizational IT staff, Help Desk Support Technicians keep the technology functioning to help businesses perform their daily operations.
